Hotel Happenings Part 4

ok..its getting etream!

I get a phone call Sat night around midnight, The night auditor is looking for a little advice on what to do....To start the phone said "I am getting non stop phone calls from guest complaining about the noise coming from the 3rd floor and I'm to scared to go up there. What Should i do?"

So I told her if swhe doesnt feel comfortable to go up there, no security is there and with the amount of complaints, you should call the Police and have them come and issue noise complaint ticket and have all persons that are not registered guest kicked out.

ok so this is all I hear about this until I get a second phone call tonight telling me about what else happened.


Front desk clerk all of a sudden hears gun shots coming from out side (and her phone rings, her best friend is in the parking lot, and witnesses the shooter)

The shooter, shoots out a 3rd floor Window, everyone scaders in diffrent directions. Piles of people getting in to diffrent cars. And people running down every stairwell. Well now the police have been called for a second time and told by the clerk (who has now ran and locked herself in the fitness center bathroom). Explaining tothem that shots have been fired that police arrive shortly after.

And Do a full investigation kick everyone out, but of course there is a large group of people that refuse to leave. Decide to yell at the desk clerk and police finally get them to leave. But now there has been aother squad called to man the front desk area to protect the clerk since the police are worried that those people will return and try to hurt the clerk.

Results: The Police remain at the hotel for over 3 hours and return again in the morning to collect the survelence footage.

Hotel Happenings Part 3

Set the Stage:

General Manager recives an email from a guest that is to be arriving later this week, with a picture attachment of a woman....... well this email states that not only is he arriving but that his ex that he has a restraining order against is scheduled to come to out hotel as well and that she is not allowed to be within 500 feet of the same property that he is on.

ok so come check in time the front desk staff havent been informed of what is going on and have no clue what is about to happen. Both parties check into hotel......

(might i add that the front desk is being run by a staff member barrowed from another hotel and the entier staff are in the building for our All Staff Mtg. )

Approx 1hour after both parties have been in the hotel and in there rooms police arrive, the ex husband called the police since she is violating the restraining order (even tho they are on opposite sides of the hotel)...

So this guest is now forced to leave the property and all of her friends go with since there were all going to the same event.
Well not only is her and her friends in the hotel because there going to the same event but thats why the ex husband is going to it also. So now she is out the money on the hotel and if she steps foot inside the event that she is in town to go to she will arrested.....

personally if i had an ex that was that big of an ass i would have canceled that trip a long time ago and not bothered to take that bus trip all the way from Michigan...but im just saying.

Hotel Happenings Part 2

ok so i come in and the passing on msg from the morning shift is.....

Oh my god you totally missed everything.....So this morning, we had an irrate female guest and she was so upset that she is screaming at the front desk representitive. She told him to "Go back to Africa" , she is screaming in breakfast area. Upseting all of the guest. Management asks her to leave and she refuses. Of course this only makes her more upset. Well since shes refuses to leave, the police are called. The police officers that come happen to be some of the regulars that come up to the hotel (Doing bucket checks and making sure were ok). Well this lady decided that she gonna tell the officers "fuck you" over and over again and screaming and yelling at them. this has know scared all of the housekeepers out of the area. Most guest are trying to leave, accept for a few that are about to become witnesses to what are about to happen.....

This crazy lady decieds that she is going to bite the cop ( from witness statement "it looked like a really bad dog bite when she was done with it") So exactly what should happen happenes next...She got Tazzed!.....

Ending Result: After being tazzed...she not only left the hotel but had a nice ride out on a strecher.....I'm sure followed by a nice set of braclets and a State Disorerly Conduct Ticket.

Hotel Happenings Part 1

3 Guys comes to the desk and says "Room 339....Is that a guy?" So I say I dont know let me look.....Well its a girls name, thats all I can tell you.

Ok he says and walks away.......(3min later) All 3 guys leave the hotel and they are up set saying "Thats not even right" "You need to call the police on that" "Thats some bullshit".....Security guard is outside as there getting in there vehicle and they decide to start yelling durogitory slurs at him...

(So I call the room to make sure the person in the room is ok) Hearing that voice reminded me that the persons occupying the room are Drag Queens....now I understand why there asking what they were asking.

10 min later the car the guys left in returns....but only one of the guys comes back in to the hotel

The other guys that opt for staying in the car decied they were gonna fire up a joint ( i could really care less...) but my security guard was already in a mood and with the other behavior coming from these guys he choose to call the cops and have them check it out.

and approx 15 min after he goes upstairs he returns to the lobby saying
"if anyone asks i was never hear " " i just got in a rumble" "if she comes down....i didnt do it"

ok you know this is gonna make me suspicious as to what the hell just went down.......So since the police are already on there way, and the guys are gone. I send security and police apon arrival up to the room to 1 make sure eveyone is ok, and 2 to see if there is something really going on.

Well turns out that there are 6 people in this room and max of 4, also the person that the room is registered to isnt there at the moment "but she will be coming back soon" ...highly doubtfull

to add to it every person in this room is a drag queen and the room is registered to a female per id. Also everyone in the room claims to be a local and id is out of state and car they got out of is from out of state.

Results: next day they got kicked out, violation of hotel rules (over max of persons per rm)

Halloween 2009-Platteville

Halloween Weekend i ventured down to Platteville to visit all the people I haven't seen in aprox a year.
I was able to spend time with my good friends the Edge family and hangout with Ivy and meet Colton for the first time. I love getting time to talk to Cassie and see how life it catch up on the past year. Got to see there new place (love it). And was able to see Ivy in her very cool black and pink whitch costume.
Spent some time with Pat, Erin and Kendal. Took Erin out for a Driving lesson, I had a lot of fun with that. She did reall well, only one thing that scared me the rest was good. Went out for brekfst with them, good ole Country Kitchen.
Lots of Quality time with Michelle. Watching movies, hanging out, went to lunch. Went to see SAW VI, that is a extreamly scary movie but i was suprised that it was a decent plot. Im not saying i would go watch 1-5 but i was good.
Had a nice visit with Matt R, love getting to talk to him. We always have such good conversations :). he showed me all of his new toys....as in AED, and other new toys in his Jeep.

Overall it ws a good trip, and hopefully the next time i get back to Platteville will be less than a year away.
